You read that or saw that correctly... 4 dots is the title of this blog. What does it mean? Nothing.
One of the things I love to do is watch movies. Oftentimes, I don't get to watch it in the cinema so I wait until it comes out on television and enjoy it at my own pace - to watch it again and again. To see the nuances that we don't get to see the first time around. Unless we want to pay more to watch it a second time.
I just watched 13 Hours - the story of how six ex-military detailed with the CIA held The Annex while they waited...and waited until help arrived. There has been a lot of talk about what really happened and what was portrayed under the helm of Michael Bay (Transformers fame). Hollywood has the artistic license to make a movie based on a true story more riveting, if not appealing to those who put hard earned money into box-office coffers.
But it isn't about artistic license nor the facts of what went down during those 13 hours that I want to write about. It's about loss... on both sides. Lives were lost in the American side - lives of men who had families waiting for them to go home. Lives were lost on the Libyan side - of men and children who left their mothers, wives, and sisters to grieve.
The ellipsis above? You decide. You can either look at it as 'what next'?
Or, there's nothing left to say.
