I've just had brunch: corned beef, bagel, and coffee. This is going to last me until this evening. I mean really...my eating habits are weird. When I order at a resto now, I ask for the kiddie meal because I now that I won't be able to finish my food. Ha!
So now, I'm here in front of my computer writing a sensual BDSM novella (I know right?!), writing up my reviews for InDTale, and messaging #bloggers who may be interested in reviewing Midnight's Paradox. I have sent an email to maybe a dozen or so bloggers but so far only two have replied. Am I worried? Kinda. I can only hope that they'd b interested. Besides, Midnight's Paradox might not be their cup of tea.
Which brings me to the reason for this post. Being an indie author is difficult and can be filled with anxiety. But the rewards are immense, one of which is when a reader or a blogger gives you a 4* or 5* review because they loved it so much...it makes you feel that you're on the right track.
Later, I'm going to go back to plotting the next book that comes after Blake's AND plot the next book in the Second Chances Series, entitled Slow Dancing. that should give you a pretty good idea of what it's going to be about. ;)
Until next blog entry!
